READIES FOR NEW BOARDING HOUSE PROJECT

Exciting news is on the horizon as VFE gears up to embark on a new project in the Sinh Phinh 1 primary school (Tua Chua district, Dien Bien province). The upcoming endeavor involves the construction of a much-needed boarding house for the school. We are thrilled to announce that the project is set to launch in early January 2024. In this update, we're delighted to share the recent milestones that have paved the way for this significant initiative.

Fundraising Success:

First and foremost, we're happy to announce the successful completion of our fundraising mission. We got USD 80,000 fully funded for the school.

The generosity and support from our donors and community partners have been overwhelming, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this project a reality. It is through collective efforts that we can create positive change and empower communities.

Preparing for Launch

In our latest work trip in November, we took strategic steps to lay the groundwork for the upcoming boarding house project. These preparations were crucial to ensure a smooth and impactful implementation.

1. Final Field Assessment

Our team conducted a comprehensive final field assessment to gauge the current condition of Sinh Phinh 1 Primary School. This assessment involved a close examination of existing facilities, infrastructure, and the unique needs of the students and educators. The insights gained will inform the design and construction of the new boarding house, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with the requirements of the school and its community.
