LONG-TERM VOLUNTEER PROGRAM: STEM CLASSES ON SUNDAYS

Since the beginning of April, we have started the extra classes for the children at Sinh Phinh 1 Primary School every Sunday. These activities are completely new to them, so little by little, we observe their reaction and feelings in each class. 

Not surprisingly, in the 1st class, only 12 ten-to-eleven-year-old girls were joining, while many other boys were playing football outside. After 3 weeks, the "word of mouth" method works. The children themselves share how funny the classes are with their friends. The number of students actively registering and joining the class increased from 12 to 18 in the 2nd week, and last week, there were about 30 students in total. Sounds amazing, right?
