Breaking Ground on New Facilities for Sinh Phinh 2 Primary School

 

We are excited to announce that VFE has officially broken ground on a crucial infrastructure project at Sinh Phinh 2 Primary School (Tua Chua District, Dien Bien Province). This project includes the construction of a new boarding house, toilet and shower areas, and a roofed dining space for boarding students—vital improvements that will significantly enhance their living and learning conditions.

Groundbreaking Ceremony: A Major Milestone

The groundbreaking ceremony was held to mark the beginning of this important project. Representatives from the construction company, school officials, and the District Education and Training Department gathered to celebrate the start of this transformative initiative.

The ceremony symbolized our collective commitment to improving the educational environment for students in this remote area. VFE's local partners expressed their strong support, recognizing the impact these new facilities will have on the students’ well-being and academic performance.

Progress on the Project

With the groundbreaking complete, the construction team has already begun laying the foundation for the boarding house. Over the next few months, the team will focus on building a sturdy structure that will house nearly 300 boarding students. The additional toilet and shower facilities will ensure the students have access to proper hygiene, while the dining area’s roof will provide shelter during meal times.
