A Day of Festivities: Officially Opening Our New Student Boarding House

We are delighted to share the joyous moments from the recent inauguration ceremony of the new boarding house at Sinh Phinh No.1 Primary School in Dien Bien Province. This event marked the culmination of our efforts to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for the students and was a true celebration of community, culture, and collaboration.

The Project Journey

The journey of this project has been one of dedication and collaboration. Our mission was to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for 250 boarding students of Sinh Phinh No.1 Primary School. The new facilities include a fully furnished boarding house, shower compartments, and a dining area.

The inauguration ceremony was a momentous occasion, marked by joyous celebrations and heartfelt speeches. The event was a true community effort, with students and teachers contributing through vibrant performances of singing and dancing.

• Warm Welcome and Opening Remarks: The ceremony began with a warm welcome to all distinguished guests, including representatives from our organization, local educational authorities, and community leaders. The opening remarks set the tone for a day of celebration and gratitude.

• Cultural Performances: The students and teachers showcased their talents through various cultural performances. The highlights included a Unity Dance, a solo performance of "Going to School Far Away," a group song "This Earth Belongs to Us," a solo rendition of "The Teaching Profession I Love," and a traditional folk dance "Village Leaves." These performances added a festive spirit to the occasion and demonstrated the vibrant cultural heritage of the community.

• Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony: The most significant moment of the event was the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Key representatives, including Mr. Alexander Paulus, Director of Volunteers for Education (VFE), Ms. Nguyen Huyen Phuong, Chief Representative, and local educational leaders, came together to officially open the new boarding facilities. This symbolic act marked the culmination of months of hard work and collaboration.
